Casa Naranja's Custom Teak Kitchen

Rustic Charm with a Mexican Flair

Designing and building their private casa in the foothills near Chiang Mai, Tad Malone and his wife Chanida Nilklad, accented the residence with Mexican, Moroccan, and Spanish influences from their travels.

Wood Art Design custom designed and built a hand-crafted teak kitchen from the owner's rough sketches and installed all the cabinetry with the existing polished concrete counters.

The kitchen and the residence were the featured cover story in Thailand's Home and Garden magazine.

  • Solid teak cabinetry featuring solid teak doors and drawers, and teak veneer panels.
  • Blum stainless soft close hardware on all cabinet doors.
  • Unique Craftsman styled cross hatch wood pattern under sink area for ventilation.
  • European white oak interiors.
